Keegan already under serious pressure.

Kevin Keegan is refusing to get downhearted despite seeing his Newcastle side succumb to another heavy defeat.
The Magpies' 5-1 defeat at home to a rampant Manchester United on Saturday means that they have now gone 10 games without a win in the Premier League and have conceded 13 goals in five top-flight matches under Keegan.
However, Keegan has insisted that he is the right man to rectify the current situation and revealed that he will not walk away from the challenge despite the pressure beginning to mount on him just five weeks after he was proclaimed as the saviour of the club.

How long will it take for the Toon Fans to turn against King Kev.

Fill in the Poll - Is King Kev the right man for the job.

Wenger is right - Eduardo's broken leg !!!!!!!!!!!

Ifeel that I should show the images that follow in a bid to discuss the shocking trend in two footed tackles and tackles with studs showing that has plagued our game in recent years. This season alone at least half of the sendings off in England and Scotland have been due to two footed tackles and its on the rise.
Is this due to indiscipline? not being trained to properly tackle? or the fact that the player is going into a tackle to seriously hurt his opposite number?
Eduardo Da Silva’s (of Arsenal) season is over and more than likely won’t be back till at least Season 2009-2010 with the seriousness of the injury from pictures we have seen. The tackle itself was high and with studs showing and Da Silva didn’t shirk out of the challenge, was it meant? if you see Taylors face after you can tell it wasn’t but the shock on the Arsenal players faces tell it all - Da Silva’s career may be over with.

Please leave your comments on this subject for other people to read.

Alnwick Parking charge at local hospital.

Like in most places in the country, parking your car costs money, but I think in Alnwick (Northumberland), the local infirmary has taken this a little bit too far. They've started charging you for parking your car while visiting your GP.
Does that mean that all those old people who are visiting their GP more regular than the young people, have to fork out even more money out of their poor pensions. Or does it mean that the carers will be out of pocket, having to pay every time they take one of their patient to the doctor. Seriously, there has got to be a better way.
They don't just charge you a small fee. The cost per hour is 80p or 4.80 for a dayticket. There is no option of just paying for 15min, NO, you have to pay for the full hour.
Does it mean when you're sitting in the waiting room and a message says that your GP is running 35 min late, that you will have to put some more money in the meter or when you are seen to by your GP, you just turn around and say : 'sorry doctor, my ticket is running out, I'll just put some more money in, I'll be back soon'
Shocking !!!!!!!!!!!!

Moslim Wifes Claim Multiple Benefits !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This message is not at all racist or meant to offend certain religions, however, it's about time someone takes some action against the downfall of this country's policies on new laws and religion.
After the Archbishop of Canterbury's outburst about wanting to adapt some of the Muslim laws into our society, I feel obliged to give my honest opinion, because just maybe he has overseen a few facts.
I have nothing against people starting a new life in a different country. At the end of the day, there is a lot of Brits emmigrating as well. Look around you when you're on holiday, there is a British or Irish bar in every holiday resort in the world. However, when you decide to live in a different country, you are supposed to adapt to their laws, religion and any other major tradition that the country has to offer. It doesn't mean that because you are a Muslim living in the UK that every British citizen has to adapt to their laws.
Just to give you an exemple :
Bigamy is a criminal offence in this country, but their has been several cases in the UK where a Muslim husband has got several Muslim wifes. That isn't a problem as such, but when each one of these wifes is claiming a Working and Child Tax Credit (through the same husband) then it becomes a problem to every tax-payer in this country.
To all the parents out there, isn't it about time that we make a stop to all those so-called political incorrectness. Bah-bah blacksheep is not allowed anymore because of the word 'black'. Neither is the word 'blackboard', which is now called 'chalkboard'. How ridiculous is that. Black is black and white is white. As far as I'm concerned, when I speak to a person with a different skin colour than mine, I don't look at that person's skin-colour, if we speak the same language then we will understand each other. If you were to take a knife and cut my finger, you will see that the blood will be the exact same colour as of someone with a different colour skin. We all came into this world the same way and we will more or less go the same way.
Lets not get religion, skin-colour or laws mixed-up. It's difficult enough to deal with one, nevermind all three.

I sincerely hope the Archbishop will address the country with an apologetic statement and hopefully we will get the backup of the people who run this country.

I HAD TO GET THIS OFF MY CHEST. THANKS FOR LISTENING.

COMMENTS ARE WELCOME.

Capello drops Beckham !

What a nerve !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The whole of the country is looking forward to the next England game with much anticipation. However, in the mean time, we are all reading about the new England Manager and day by day we are getting to know him. I was under the impression that, as an England manager, you need the whole of the country to be behind you for support. Remember the last person that dropped Beckham out of the line-up. He's not very much liked by the fans now. I don't think that Mclaren will get a job in management very quickly.

At the end of the day, it's only a friendly they're going to play. As it is Capello's first game in charge, it won't just be a friendly. It will probably be the most debated subject at the time. However, he could have given Beckham his 100th cap and maybe drop him after that (If that is really what he wanted to do).

Capello, for me you haven't made a very good start (and we haven't kicked a ball yet).

The Pressure is on you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jeremy Beadle is not about anymore !

What a shame, the man you would like to hate so much, but you just couldn't, has left us for good.
The jokes are quickly coming through. However, they are not all very appropriate.
I would just like to say, that no matter how rude the jokes are, I'm sure he'll be laughing his head off up there. I personally find it nice that the whole country is making jokes about a celebrity. It probably means you weren't that hated after all, Jeremy.
Rest In Peace. God Bless.

Spurs to beat Man United ??????????????

There is a good chance that Tottenham will beat Man United or at least get a replay. Therefor my money will be on Spurs with a one goal lead. With other words the draw wins your bet as well as Spurs winning the game. Will have to check on the odds, but I am sure it will be ok.

Hip Hip Hooray for Ashley Cole ????????

At least someone else will have a chance of getting in Cheryl's knickers now.
Get the idiot kicked out, darling. Come and live in the North-East again. We need you over here.
As far as Ashley Cole concerns, it couldn't have happened quick enough. The man is a W#$';\er !!!!!! But then again, thanks a lot for handing Cheryl back to our society.

David Beckham for Newcastle ??????

This could be an interesting one. You could imagine that 250.000 Toon Army fans would immediatly buy a new shirt with Beckham on the back of the shirt. As you well know, the new owner of Newcastle united has some shares with ADIDAS, so since David Beckham is the new face of ADIDAS, if he was to sign for newcastle United, he would be selling approximately 250.000 adidas shirt. He would have to fork out a lot of money, but I think this is deffinitely a possible transfer. I personnally think this would be a very good move. Does Posh want to live in the Toon though ?

Gordon Brown Organ Donor Change !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe Gordon Brown is about to change the law for Organ Donors. Instead of having to fill in a form to become an Organ Donor, we will all automatically become organ donors, so if you don't want to donate your organs you will have to fill in a form. Sounds great to me, because lazy buggers like myself, who cannot be asked to go through the riffraff, will now get all the work done for them. So if it really means that much to you that you are burried with all your organs, please, fill in the form. If not, make some poor parents happy and offer them your organs. At the end of the day, you'll not feel a thing.

Hero Coward.

I couldn't believe what I've heard this morning.
A Heroic Pilot saves hundreds of lives by sliding his plane into a field. Only 3 hours later, 2 of the passengers were moaning about not having their suitcases yet. Hello, WAKE UP, YOUR PLANE HAS JUST CRASHED. They just had a near-death experience and all they worry about is their suitcases. Did they think of ringing their relatives first, just to let them know that all is well with them. On top of that, the same people were also crying about the fact that the only thing that British Airways has provided was WATER and a leaflet for councilling. Well done British Airways !!!!!!!!!!! If it had been EASYJET, they would have given you some water but would have asked 3.99 for it.

How to get to Eurodisney very cheap !!!!!!!!!!

The last 2 years, we've been to Eurodisney with our 3 year old son. It has been an unforgettable experience, for all of us.

When we first started to talk about this trip, we decided to go to the travel-agents and check the price for this. However, no chance with those prices. So, I had to improvise and see how I could come up with a sollution.

The travel-agents wanted 1350pound for 2 nights /3 days for 2 adults and 1 child. We couldn't afford that kind of price so I shopped around and found a much better deal.

We went for 6 nights / 7 days and spend 483pound on flights and accommodation for all 3 of us, which is a saving of 867pound. We used that as our spending money. That is what I call sensible.

If you want to find out how we did it, please, contact us on http://www.jannickgenouw@hotmail.co.uk/.

West Ham to beat Man City ????

I believe there's a good chance that West Ham will beat Man City in today's FA cup replay.
However, I think a safe bet would be West Ham +1 at 4/5. This means if the game is a draw, you will still win your bet. See how it goes.

Spent too much at Xmas - check this out !!!!!!!!!

If you have spent too much money over the Xmas time and now you are a bit short on cash, this could be the answer to your questions. www.Retaileye.com gives you a chance to be a mystery shopper. Just register with them and they will give you a chance to earn small amounts of cash.
It will not make you rich, but if you're short on cash, you could for exemple go as a mystery shopper to one of the pubs. Retaileye gives you a small budget (to have a drink there) and they also pay you a small fee to do this job. Like I said, it won't make you rich, but it is a lot of fun and excitement. If you haven't got much money, you might get a bit bored with life, but this could be a solution. Check it out and let me know what you think !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Excellent Games website

I've come across this exciting website. It allows you to play games against a lot of people. By playing the games, you collect points. The points can be exchanged for entries to prize-draws. Most games are skill-games, so the better you get, the more points you'll get. The exciting bit about this website is the fact that it is all for free. Go to www.gamesville.com and check it out.
Please, let me know what you think and keep checking my blog for more interesting facts.

Rude Bar !!!!!!!!!!!

We went to Paris and found this bar. I didn't fancy going in there.

African Nations Cup

I think the home nation will have a bit of an advantage on the other countries and at 3/1 it's not a bad bet, however we cannot forget the Ivory Coast. They were unlucky in the last world cup, having drawn against Argentina and Holland. It was a very tough group. They did well in the last African Nations Cup, losing to the hosts. This could be their year. At 4/1 they must be fancied.

My tip would be : back Ghana and Ivory Coast. If one of them wins, you'll be in the money.

Tip of the day.

Bristol Rovers to beat Fulham in tonights FA cup replay at 3/1, must be worth a shot. It will probably make the game a bit less boring.

Tips for 2008 - Murray to win Wimbledon ????

At 14/1 I would say it is definitely worth an each way bet on Andy Murray to win wimbledon. The crowd will be behind him and that should work in his favour.

Also, Hamilton to win the Formula 1 world title at 7/4. I don't think so !!!!!! I would back against him.

It's only a rumour, but I would like to see Henrick Larsson back at Celtic. I never got used to the idea of him in any other shirt than the Hoops.

Linked with Reading - Josip Simunic (Hertha Berlin) - Johan Djourou (Arsenal)
Any transfer gossip, please let me know !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Hendrick Larsson to go back to Celtic !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could it be true. Larsson is talking about another loan deal to England or Scotland. Top runners are Martin O'neill's Aston Villa or a magical return to Celtic. How good would that be.
It would only be for 3 months, but you could imagine, after all he's done at Celtic. It would be interesting to see how the fans react. I would love to see it happen.
Opinions please.

Britney gone mad ??????????????

Has Britney Spears really gone mad or is this all just the media getting on our nerves again.
Ok, she had a gun in the house, but so has every other American. We shouldn't forget that she has brought a lot of entertainment in the lives of a lot of young people. And also, she is just young herself. Look around you in your neighbourhood, there is young people outhere that are just as bad as her, but because she is Britney, it all gets blown out of proportion.
Leave to lass alone, she'll grow out of it.
Opinions Please !!!!!!!!!!!!

Sam Allerdyce never given enough time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe the time has come for the premiership to change a few rules on the sacking of a manager.
Please, give me your opinion about what I'm going to say !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Personally, I think its about time that the FA creates a transferwindow for managers. With other words, you never hear of a player being sacked for not performing well enough. However, if a manager is not getting the results, they are the ones that are getting sacked. If I remember well enough, I believe that Everton didn't have any points out of the first 4 or 5 games of the season, but they stuck with their manager and see where they are now in the league. I think Sam Allerdyce didn't get enough time to build on what he wanted to achieve.
So maybe if the FA was to create a transferwindow in January and July, they would have to stick with their manager and that would take the pressure of them. It could also see a few upsetting scores towards the end of the term if the managers are getting desperate for results.
